Own a 2018 Dufour 382 Grand Large

Peter, our instructor, has the patience of job!!! Very little rattled him. We were challenging to teach because we knew so little about things that might be obvious to others. The value of being on the boat for multiple days is not easy to sell in a brochure, but easy to see after experiencing it. Prue , communications regarding course and billing, was on top of everything ! Willing to make accommodations (with enough notice) etc. Overall, I’ve “taken away” a lot more knowledge then I began with. If I had to say what’s most important, I’d say recognizing what I don’t know!! I now need to practice!! We also had the luck of having mostly wonderful weather and a snippet of what bad weather might look like and the importance of being prepared! The boat was clean and maintained (I’ve been to other boat charters that is not the case)

Excellent booking help, a practical and can-do attitude from the shore team, and well presented and equipped yacht made our charter from Hamble much nicer.

Fair view sailing has got to be one of the best (no sorry THE best) bareboat charter company's. The boats are spotless and superb condition. Top class inventory's. professional handover and hand back. If your considering charter in the Solent then the hamble is a very good base and look no further than fair view. I highly recommend them
